Lamborghini Gallardo 2004 Aftermarket Radio

Lamborghini Gallardo 2004 Aftermarket Radio

I want to put a double din dvd/gps into a Lamborghini Gallardo 2004.
I'm told it has an Audi sound system. It has the regular VW/Audi double din cd/tape radio in it with the 4 euro key holes. The factory radio looks a bit wider then normal, wondering if there is a kit for it or do I fill it in myself.

As for the wiring, anyone know if i can use a VW/Audi aftermarket wiring harness or does it have to be rewired?

I suggest you dont touch that car at all if you are not sure. Bring it to a lambo dealer, or a reputable european auto dealership. It will cost you for them to put one in, but if you can afford a lambo you can afford for them to put it in for you.

Those are some pretty weak answers boys. There must be someone on here thats done it or heard of someone doing it. Thought I could save some time by asking you guys so I can get the parts ordered and ready to go. When the customer comes in I'll see what it needs then.

Dude, if you are using a kit on a Gallardo, that is just wrong.....this car deserves custom .....if you cant do it, send it to someone that can!

haha oh man if i could throw the cash for them to work on my car! that would be pretty sick.

puttin an after market deck in a lambo? you gotta put some premium parts in there! and yes there should be dash kits to fill in the space for decks. i have one for my minivan, because its stock deck is basically the size of an LCD monitor, i had to fill in a lot fo space for the new deck to fit in.

take my words with a grain of salt here though as in the application of a lambo i wouldnt know much as it is an exxxtreemly european sports car lol. pus i wouldnt want to be the reason for a costly mistake :P but getting in touch with the dealer sounds like a good idea as who would know the cars better? wouldnt think many people here would have had the chance to work on this kind of car, i.e. me, im just happy with my minivan

edit: dunno what the interior of a lambo is like either, but i doubt they would have a dash kit for this kind of vehicle? a fun DIY wouldnt be so bad tho

X2 Really dude if you gotta ask you probably shouldn't be working on it to begin with. No I doubt you will find a kit for it as anyone with the cash to buy a lambo is not going to want a cheesy install kit in their dash. Have someone who knows what they're doing mold a custom one for you. Same with the wiring harness. Just my $0.02
