Hey guys i just need some opinions on what amp to get i have 4 dual 4 ab xfl10's going in my 08 silverado crewcab. Buddy of mine said run 2 amps at 1 ohm. Or should i run 1 amp at 2 ohms. Im looking at a crescmdo audio or ab 120.1 x2 of them. Any opinions or reconmondation would really help. Thnx also im running 2 nsb 90s plust redtop under the hood

I would run 2 amps @ 1 ohm.

if you have dual 2ohm coils on each driver then you can either run both drivers at 2ohm and use a class d amplifier capable of handling 2ohm load stable or you can run each driver at 1ohm load and use a amplifier that runs at 1ohm load just make sure the wattage your providing your subwoofer is correct or you can over kill the driver and have fried coils make sure the amp and sub are compatible by ohm ratings and rms power rating to get the maximum quality sound and reliability within your car audio products that way you will have a longer life span of listening pleasure without any complications
or failure to any equipment .. and if you run at a 1/2 ohm load you will need a cheater amp to run that low of an ohm load and provide you the sufficient power but most times subs wont handle that kind of power unless they are beefy subs spl type subwoofers and q factor and xmax will determine mainly how the sub will work out for you. amp per each sub at 1ohm or 1 amp at 2ohm stable or 1/2 ohm stable you would need 1 cheater amp like the hcca orion or the soundstream lil wonder seen some at 1/2 ohm and mmats at 1/2 ohm mainly cheater amps and oldschool ones do that type of function mainly orion had that choice
