Need help with wiring subs
Okay, so i have two Boston G5's. One is a dual 2 ohm and the other is a single 4 ohm. With the dual 2 ohm i can move the fuses to make it a single 8 ohm. Can i wire the single 8 and single 4 to my amplifier without damaging anything? and if so what will i damage? i have an Alpine mrp m1000 amplifier that can be wired down to 2 ohms and i am wanting to wire them both up instead of just one. Any help would be awesome.

here is what it looks like.. Boston g5 dual 2 ohm sub image by opter1 on Photobucket .. So you're saying i can put both of the fuses back in to make it a dual 4 again? or should i keep it single 8 ohms for now? if i put it back to dual 2 ohm will i damage anything like either of the subs or the amplifier?

If it is dual 2 ohm then the decal on the fuse holder is incorrect. Either way the two ratings do not jive. Where does it say dual 2 ohm?
in this photo look between the positive and negative holsters. beside the negative connector thingy it says 8 (then the ohm symbol) and then underneath of it, it says 2 (ohm symbol) Boston g5 dual 2 ohm sub image by opter1 on Photobucket take another look at the picture and you should see what i mean
