this makes he choice of subs a little more interesting, same with the box.... problem #1 is most guys tell you that you need these monster subs with 1 zillion jiggawatts of power.... so you buy them.... then you find you need a monster amp for them... then you find you need a box that you cannot possibly fit into the trunk.... if this is a DIY project, make a cardboard box as large as you can both get into the trunk through the opening and to fit in the trunk where you want it to sit. Then we can figure out how much airspace you have and narrow down the options on subs. The most important part about a sub system is the box.... screw up on it and you are headed for a long life of taking home nasty fat whales from the bar...... er... you are headed in the wrong direction on the choice of subs and how it will sound and perform.
