Pioneed DVD player help...

Aight, I've got a crisis. My pioneer dvd player arrived today, and I jumped right into putting in BUT it turns out the BOSE system in my 97 eldorado is a mess to work with. Online I've seen people say you need a PAC adapter for a bose system but I haven't found one for 97 eldorado...I did find a scosche one in Walmart that claimed to be for 90s cadillacs but it's hardly an ideal solution. I realize replacing and rewiring the bose speakers is probably the best option but I don't have speakers for that right now. So is there a wiring diagram for my problem or a solution i don't know about?

Appreciate the help.

Because of the age of the car you might not find the right hardware anymore. Believe it or not your probably best off by picking up a couple pair of new speakers and running new wiring direct from the radio to them.

To add to what Paul mentioned as well, your better off rewiring and eliminating the bose amp because at higher volume your going to have distortion and noise problems. For your info as well Pac does not make an interface for your vehicle.

I believe the bose system runs a very low ohms load, something like 0.5ohms where the head unti u have runs a 4ohm load so yea without the proper adaptor if they make one your going to have issues, went thru the same in a friends older sts model, only option was replacing all speakers and speaker wiring. Im sure if someone was familiar enuff with the bose set up you could probably rewire the speakers combined to get them to a 4ohm load but your talkin more headaches than its worth... sry for yer dilema
