Pioneer cd changer wiring question

I have a Premier 880PRS head unit and someone gave me a 12 disc changer (CDX-P1230S) today. I plugged in the IP-BUS cable. There is also a small plug next to that connector that has 2 black wires.

My question is: Where do I connect those 2 black wires? Because the cd changer is not responding right now.

Any help is appreciated.

Ok, I figured out those 2 wires. So I have power and I can eject the cartridge but my head unit doesn't seem to recognize the changer. When changing source, it goes from tuner to cd player, then back to tuner. No multi-changer.

it should see it. You might have to go back into the initial setup menu to add that source. If not.. just unplug the CD changer, turn the radio on, the plug the CD Changer in

Add the source? I activated both AUX inputs in the setup and nothing. Unglugged and plugged it back in, also nothing.

I'm in Vaudreuil but if you're going to be in the WI, I might meet you there.
