Problem with Speakers or Amp!?!?! Sound Cut Off
Hey guys,
I have a problem with my front component speakers. Every time i go over a certain sound level, usually around 38-45/60, my tweeters die and my left front speakers will die also, but when i put it back down they come back on. Now what can this be? The speakers don't even crack, can it be the amp or maybe the cross overs?? I have infinity components, alpine amp and a pioneer deck among other things.

please spend a moment telling how the speakers are wired, how many channels does the amp have and what is on each channel.
I have no idea what those volume numbers represent but is it uncomfortably loud, does the tone of the music change while the volume is turned up? is there a bass boost or loudness control or bass compensation circuit turned on (amp or HU).
Did you do the installation or a friend or a shop.

amp , cross overs,deck,or the rca's
if it is a 4ch the out put is nfg
bad cross over
deck with a bad part in it
a rca that when you installed it you crushed it
if you have an eq the eq may have gone nfg
when you are playing at 1/2 power or about there is alot that it might be

ok well the speakers are Infinity 6010CS and they are hooked up to an Alpine MRPF240. The speakers are using the four channels with Infinity 6012i for the back. I have a Pioneer DEH-P7700MP. Everything was installed professionally and gave me no problems for 2 years.

i tried switching the rca's. And the back speakers didnt cut and the fronts had the same problem. Thats why i doubt it is the amp.
