Precision Power - PPI Pro PC12 12" Flat Cone Subwoofer Pair

I'm looking for a pair of old school PPI 12" flat cone subwoofers, model PC12 - I think. They were manufactured in 96 or 97. To make matters simpler, I've included a snapshot or two. Shipment would be to Winnipeg. Thank you for reading!

p.s. please make sure to email me directly in case I don't log in here for a while.

Pic #1 is of a PC12, the last one is of a PRO12. Which ones are you looking for?

Hi Rave, it seems you know more about the difference between the two types than I do. Perhaps you can weigh in on it? The PC12 I guess then means "Power Class 12" and the Pro12 is something entirely different (Pro Series maybe?). But I thought the Pro12 was part of the PowerClass series. I'd imagine then I'd be looking for the Pro12 subwoofers. There isn't much information available out there on these. They seem to be very economical on the used market though.

pc= foam surround and steel basket
pro= rubber surround and cast aluminium basket, more power handling and much heavier.

I've had both and would have to say that they soinded great. But having 2 12" Pros in a little Colt was too heavy so I sold them.

Hi Rave, a couple of 12's probably would've taken your ears off in that small space not to mention make a dent in your fuel economy. I'm borrowing a Pro10 from a friend and showing it around to see if anyone local has them. They really don't sell for much at auction but shipping a pair up is going to cost $100 most likely. I guess that phase of acceptance is now over with and with all the new product out there to choose from most want to move forward. I'm unsure how much success I'll have finding a pair in Canada because I don't think there was much Canadian distribution. Locally PPI is not even sold anymore and when it was only one retailer had it. It will take some time but I'd guess some will turn up eventually.

I don't know if you're ok with 10" but here's an auction for NEW IN BOX subs. Even if shipping is around 100$, it's still a good deal.

Hi Rave, I did indeed see those 10's.... thanks for the lead though. The price is probably good compared to what the normal retail was but it seems they really don't get much money used so I think that fellow might be in for a long auction.

Have a look at these for comparison: 120292715997, 270259712967, 110279432160

Much obliged for keeping your eyes peeled out though! I think used in Canada would be the way to go. I could go for a pair of 12's and maybe a set of 15's afterwards. You know, I'm surprised they came in an 8ohm version too. I'd like to have those in particular!
