How compact and does it have to be a D class? What about a 2 channel which will give you 4 ohms mono

Class D amp will have less of a current draw on my battery 'cause it requires less to make the same amount of output... and I don't have a high output alternator.

Well at 300wrms it will not be much draw at all and the difference between a d and ab at 300Wrms would equate to about 30amps on an AB vs 25amps on a D. Any budget in mind?

Yeah, I know but i'd still prefer a mono... Something used around $175 maybe...
