a lot of SPL boxes are trial and error adding some to the port/taking some off, measuring each time you do it. keep going till the meter goes up, It is so much about the car and the resonant frequency of it along with the tuning.

then after you build that box, try another one with different cu/ft and see your #s then

also dont forget that with that size of box.. are you going to be able to slide in/out of the car..

Yeah I hear that I dont have room for a load of wood and a huge area for clamping/gluing, especially in winter :/
