4th order bandpass
 

how do i know how big the boxes need to be for a CONCEPT ZT 104 10" sub

you need to make basically the right cuf behind the cone but im not to sure how big to make it infront of the cone...
its to bad manufacturer's dont give these specs for their products hey.
4th order, 6th order and even 8th order if they thought someone out there was gonna make it just because they could.

It's not that easy. There is no 'best' size. Bandwidth, depth, sensitivity, linearity, power handling are all juggled with bandpass boxes. Sealed bandpasses are a little easier than vented ones but there is still a lot to consider :dunno:

i was thinking of 1.5cft with a 3" port 8"long and something like a 1cft sealed box
but i do not know how or what makes a good 4th order

Do you have the T/S parameters for the driver? I've done a couple of searches but haven't had any luck.

Dukk is right tho...it's not always as straight forward with a bandpass but perhaps we can get you a good starting point.

the part with the port 1.5cft.what i need is what is the sealed box and the port size 3"x ?

I maybe be able to give the dimensions of a universal type 4 th order that works with quite a few drivers that I designed.
