6.5" sub box help
My friend found an old sub he had in the garage and gave it to me and this is where it came from Roadmaster BassBlaster 6.5"" Car Subwoofer System, model no. RBB650T I just have the sub and want to build a ported box just for fun, but can't find any more specs apart from whats on that site so I was wondering if you guys could give me some info as to dimensions or cubic feet, etc...

good luck getting any info on that bro...those generic sub systems usually have their own brand (or some custom made but cheap) speakers that are designed specifically for those enclosures. I would just build a box roughly the volume of the tube enclosure (roughly 8.5 diameter by 19.25 length will give you about .5 cubic feet net volume, which seems about right for a 6.5 subwoofer). That will get you about the same perfomance in a sealed box. If you want to try ported, build it .8 cubes and use a 2" dia. by 5" round port for a tuning of about 40 hz...should sound alright with 40 watts.
