Alpine Type R's in accent

well i have a build to do for a friend in what i believe is a 2002 accent just looking for design ideas for enclosure will have demensions available soon. I was thinking of subs up port back personally but open to any thoughts or suggestions, but will include pics of setup now biggest problem is that the current enclosure (prefab) is tuned to about 43 hz and were looking for 36hz box now.

My opinion on 'port area per foot' is that it is as relevant as trying to design a box based on 'watts per inch of sub'

ie, useless.

4.75 is a little big no? I'm no box expert but it sounds like its a little too much space for 2 12''s
