Applying Fiberglass Resin Inside Box

I want to coat the inside of my new MDF enclosure with resin. I purchased some 3M Bondo resin will this product work? Should I use some mat along the panels as well or just coat the MDF with resin? Is there any prep work that needs to be done before applying the resin? Thanks in advance for responses

Will the resin that I purchased work? I read that you should use a poly resin not an epoxy but the container didn't give any information to which it was.
