Building a sub box

Im building a sub box for my truck to go under the back seat. i have 2 10" JL 10W1V2-4 subs. I was wondering if i would be better off making the box the whole length or the back or just having it big enought for the subs? like would a small box sound better?

I found this document JL 10W1V2-4 Owners Manual that suggests .625 cuft/sub (sealed) or 1.0 cuft/sub ported (ie. use a 2 cuft box for 2 subs). It also has TS parameters if you want to do your own calculations.

The shape shouldn't matter - get as close to the suggested (enclosure) volume as you can.

I'll leave sealed vs. ported for someone else (as it's a question I'm interested in as well).

Cheers,

I would make a seperate ported box for each sub( as well )
why not use the room to do the amp next tp the subs
so if i had the room i would do ported box ,amp, ported box
but if i can just get the room for sealed anp seal then that is wath i would do
