cadence ultradrive x 2 enclosure help
hey i'm looking for some help designing a ported enclosure for two cadence ultradrive z10w-2 subs.. these will be going into the back of a 1991 ford escort and yes i will be building the enclosure myself.. there are two of these subs for $50 each at a local pawn shop up here so i'm gonna go ****** em up and give em a try next pay day.. i'm also going to be needing an amp for these so i was probably just going to be picking out an amp once i can get a better look at em possibly tomorrow..
alright so heres the specs on these subs..
Size - 10"
Voice Coil - 2" Four-Layer
Impedance - 2Ohm Single Coil
Power Handling - 300 Watts RMS/ 600 Peak
Long Life Power - 250 Watts
Frequency Resp - 30Hz - 2Khz
Magnet Size - 100 oz. structure
SPL @ 1W/1M 93dB
Mounting Depth - 5.5"
TS PARAMETERS
Z=31.79
Fs=31.32
Pe=300
SPL=85
Re=2
Le=2.11
BL=8.26
Xmax=0.0085
Cms=0
Qms=9.575
Qes=0.6427
Qts=0.6013
Sd=3.6E-6
Vas=42.5339
Type=0
i was thinking a 500W amp would do the trick for these quite nicely.. and as for an enclosure im just lookin for a little assistance on that.. i'll be able to get measurements of my trunk tomorrow and i'm not lookin to cut it to bits in there.. just need a box to set inside.. if possible i'd like to keep as much trunk space as i can because i have no idea if i'm going to need it.. or if i'm going to need access to my spare tire.. happens eh.. lol
anyways.. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
