Post Clarion PXW series 15 help

I have lost the spec sheet for this sub, and can not find it on the interent anywhere, its like this sub didnt exist.
anyway im just looking for the recomended box dimentions its a dual 2ohm sub
1000wmax 500wRMS I believe
and as I can remember the box dimentions on the sheet seemed very very small for the sub
it is the sub with the fiberglass cone material not the new PXW series

Thanks

Sounds like the specs as I remember them
so for the sealed does that mean the smaller box is louder and the bigger = better SQ ? or is the bigger box better all around

to get that sub to real perform u need to port it. sealed does it no justice. i would go 2.5 cubes with 40sq inches of port 16" long. should hammer.

What would that be for a round port and are you sure of the cubes 2.5 seems small and is smaller than the spec ?
or are you saying this from experience in which case I might just have to trust you

ive built a few boxes for them and they did quite well. the specs say 2 cubes ported and im suggesting 2.5 plus sub and port displacement. 3.5 cubes is for the PXW1552 06 model i believe.

Thanks bigman
but one problem for me is I have no idea how to calculate sub displacement, I do know how to do it for port, any idea what the internal volume should be before sub and port
