14 Attachment(s)
For those who are tired of using a jigsaw for making rough subwoofer holes
For those that have a router laying around and dont want to spend 50+ dollars for circle jig.... here is DIY for making your own and all you need is the following: Jigsaw Router Ruler Drill piece of mdf 8"x15"(i used 1/4" thick which should be the minimum) depending on ur router and circle cutting needs pictures should be self explanatory Attachment 15100 Attachment 15101 Attachment 15102 Attachment 15103 Attachment 15104 Attachment 15105 Attachment 15106 then just match, drill, countersink holes for the screws to attach ur new jig to the router in place of the stock base plate and your ready to go also i added a handle made from a dowel i had laying around be sure to make your measurements from the centre of the pivot hole to the outside edge of the router bit and use circle radius(e.g. for 10" cut you measure 5" to make your pivot hole on the jig) i sanded and rounded all the edges on the bottom of the jig so it wont catch on anything while pivoting |
good idea .... will use :)
