Genesis coupe audio custom box.

I have 2 10" re audio sx's and am thinking about building a custom box for them to put in my coupe. I will be using the re enclosure design calculator.

I am a bit confused as to 2 things.

#1 My 10's require 1.25 cf per. So does that mean that the box I will build has to be double that at 2.5 cf? ( might sould dumb but I need to know )

#2 The program says to use a square port. I can make a port that is 2.5 wide and 3.5 deep and that will work for my application and also tuned to 34hz assuming that I need a 2.5 cf box. I am thinking about using pvc pipe to stick out of the box and go up through the rear deck. ( there is a hole allready there for the stock sub ) So can I use a pipe that is the same diameter and depth as the spuare one or would it change the tuning frequency too much?

Also that port just seems a bit small to me for 2 10's. ( mabye it's just me )

Any help would be great. I don't want to screw this project up.

ps. I allready have these subs in a bassworx ported box that is approximately 2.25 cf and 2 sloted ports supposedly tuned to 40 hz. The subs face forward and the ports face up. Do you think that I would see any gains if I built a new box or should I just keep this one?

Ya that port that re calculates me to use is only 21 square inches. Don't know if I should trust that program. If I use 30-40 square inches would it matter the width and height?

Thanks for the advice. It has promted me to find some port calculators online and from what I am seeing I need a port around 36 square inches. Where did you come up the figure or you just knew. Also do you think I should even make a new box?
