i have a slot port that i want to divide by 2 so i can have port on each side of box, do i just divide the port by 2 or is their a formula for splitting slot ports into 2. all this so i can then have sub sit in the middle of cab.all help thanked in advance

You need to build a new box with a slot on each side. Check RE's website as they have box builder programs.

Good question I was also wondering this. You need to find out if your 1-into-2 port needs to be double the width inside, if you have a 4" port coming from both sides, you'll need 8" port width inside the box, because technically it's not a 4" port, it's an 8" split. If you take an 8" port and have an opening of 4", it won't work, maybe. It might be worked out into a 4" into 4" & 4" into 4". You are not splitting the inside port, it's being shared. For instance:
