Ideas for tuning please

I have never built a ported box but im willing to giver a shot,(done many sealed) the woofer is a kicker 07cvr12.2

Got a deal on this from a member here, it came in a sealed box and its not quite loud enuf for me.
I listen to a mixture of rock to rap to country 80 % metal/rock though.

I was thinking somewere around 30 hz in a 2.0 cuft enclosure . But at the same time im thinking i should tune higher to suit rock music? round 35?
I could go up to 2.25 cuft but i dont wanna go larger.

Spec are

dis -122.1 but i think its act 0.122 any idea?
fs -26.1
spl -86.7
xmax -12.64
qms -9.99
qes -.556
qts -.527
vas -3.37

I will be using the bow builder on subwoofertools.com to make the box,but if someone can suggest better i'll giver a try.

Since this is your first time building a ported box I recomend building one with an easily ajustable port. Round ports are good for this.
That way you can tune it to the way YOU like it.
Kicker recomends a box between 1.75 and 2.25cu ft so I would build one 2 cu ft after port and sub displacement. One 4" flared port cut at 15.5" will tune to about 30hz then you can shorten it to raise the frequency.
38hz is the norm tuning of prefab boxes.
