Are you painting that box or throwing carpet on it?

I'm just waiting for my carpet to show up
from Parts Express and I got a little bit of
cosmetic work to do on the ports

I think the box would look great with a nice painted finish (automotive paint, piano black... something classy)

I am not a huge fan of the chrome dust cap either

I like the old black dust caps with the white JBL logo
better than this new aluminum one...

I'm really liking the performance I am getting from
this enclosure..the out put and SQ are both very
good...I will definatly be building more like it

Wow! impressive!

first - i like your technique on tuned vent flanging, i would have never thought about doing that way. i've always used seperate ply sheets, heat/moisture formed them and glued them in place.

Second - LOVE the component combonation settup you've got. i own a 2006 Toyot / Scion xB. i've got my pair of W10GTI MKII's and two pairs of those 660GTI's sitting in my closet at the moment. waiting for the new GTO amps to be shipped out so i can order my GTO4001 and GTO14001. got my Iraggi alt comming soon and i've been working on a metal bracket mount for a pair of Kinetic HC600's to be mounted on the under side of my chassis.

you by far DO have one of the best settups that money can buy. the 560 and 660GTI components are insane. took a set to a freind's studio to do a quick comfirmation of the sound quality. RTA showed an even smoother flat line response all through the spectrum. they are truely amazing!

Nice work! no better settup then a JBL GTI and Pioneer settup.

*2x JBL W10GTI MKII, 2x 660GTI, 200amp Iraggi, 2x Kinetic HC600 bats, Pioneer DEH6900UB, JBL GTO14001 amp, JBL GTO4001*

they have a completely flat response on the RTA
but that's not as impressive as what they do with
some good tunes...
you can take your favorite song that you listened to
1000 times and with these components you hear stuff
that you never knew was there..almost like hearing it
for the first time...you can even hear the space around
the recording
