JL high output box specs?

Does anyone know the specs of the JL 12w6v2 high output box? I.e Tuning, Volume, and Port area.

From what I remember reading they recommend 1.5cf at 32hz with 19" port area for that driver. But I figured if I have extra space, why not make a bigger box? And if I could make one to JL spec of the HO box, even better.

JL Website

They have a dropdown for the suggested vented enclosure under the Specifications tab.

Yes, but what I'm saying is they sell these subs in their line of HO boxes. Those boxes clearly are bigger and have higher port area. So I wanted to know the specs of the HO boxes.

Which HO box are we talking about? I'm pretty sure those are patented designs and JL wouldn't release information for people to be making these on their own - otherwise JL would be losing money.

Your best bet is to understand the design of the box and to try and make it yourself. I don't see how you'll get any useful specs to build something that accomplishes the same thing.

I'm talking about the big gray carpeted box with the red carpet in the oval opening at the face of the box. It's a regular slot ported box with the port running all the way around. They have been copied successfully from what I remember reading by several people before. Can't be that hard to measure internal volume, port area, and port length, and thus calculating tuning.

Nope, it's not that hard. So get your hands on one and do it

Or, they give the rough outside dimensions. A little time and one could figure it out.
