need help with box design
 
new to the forum. id like to know if any one does free box plans. if so my max dims are 36'' wide 20'' deep 16'' high. the subs are 2 12'' hifonic brutus square getting a little more than rms. i want it to hit the lows but still be loud for everyday use with heavy bass/rap music. thank you for anyones help

With two 12"'s you don't have to worry about being loud. If you listen to fast pace music such as DnB and Rock, you should tune the box low, to minimize group delay (Delay of kicks, usually) but if you don't listen to fast paced music often, you can tune a bit higher, and sacrifice group delay for some Db's at around tuning frequencies. The general rule is tuning around the 30's, preferably low 30's. You should try the program WinISD, you can see what port length you need and then do some work on paper to calculate the actual box size/volume.

Just find out what the recommended airspace for your subs are.
