Need help please two 12" MMats

Hi, I just picked up these two Mmats 12" 600w rms subs. They came in a box, but I have no idea if it's a proper enclosure, or if the port is correct. I am looking for a really clean but powerful bass. No DB competitions, I just want to blow away the other guy at the lights. So, I guess it will need a good tune for driveability. Currently running these subs off 360 wrms, but they will get an upgrade soon to a 1000 watt amp. Any help is much appreciated.

Okay, I found some new information on these subs:
Ported box = 2.0 cu ft recommended. I have two, so do I double the cu. ft?
And the port = 20sq. inches by 15"L

Additionally, here is the subwoofer specs: http://www.mmatsproaudio.com/pdfs/subwooferspec.pdf

It is the procast 12"

Okay, the box I have is : 35 x 13 x 20 inches.

It seems like the enclosure is too big. Can it still be used? I could put some bracing inside to lower the cu. ft

Try it the way it is and see how it sounds, then throw some wood in these to reduce the size and see if it improved.

Thanks MTT, good idea, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to try it out. It sounds pretty awful actually, not very musical, the port is unattached, so there is just a 4x4" hole in between the two subs. I'll either want to use this box and make some improvememnts, or I could just start over and make a whole new box.

I got a chance to play around with the box. I got the port put back together, the port measurements were: 4" x 7" x 9" A tuning calculator said the box should be tuned to around 37 hz. It sounds pretty damn good, for only 180 wrms each, I am impressed. It's enough to get the skull on my back sill bounce. I just can't wait to get 1000 watts flowing to these.

Would someone be so kind as to double check my work?
Here is what I have found so far:
Box dimensions: 35W x 20H x 13D
Subwoofers displacement: .30 sq. ft. total (2 subs)
Port: 7"H x 4"W x 9"L slide in 3/4 inch MDF rounded edges.
The port is located between the two subs
So, what should be the tuning frequency?

It is tuned to 39 hz. If that is the inside measurement of your port.
