Need Help with Small Box options

I am just getting back into Car audio after a 18 Year hiatus. There is a lot to re-learn. I am building a completely stealth install and I only have a very small space for the subwoofer. Because of that, I would like to get some input from some people with more experience than I.
Ideally I am looking for sound quality over anything else. I have a space that is no larger than 18"X9.5"X11.5" to work with. That gives a total internal space of .802 cu ft and then we have to remove the driver displacement. (using .75" MDF)
I will be using the JL Audio XD700/5 Amplifier and was thinking about a 2 Ohm load.
My question is what would be a best solution here? a single 10 sealed? 2 - 8's sealed, a single 8 ported?, 10 ported is almost impossible due to space, but If it could be done I would do it.
I am basically looking for a driver suggestion and a suggested enclosure type to provide the best sound quality for Rock and Jazz. SPL is not the requirement. The box is going in a mid sized SUV so it will be one large open space. Trying to keep within budget so drivers should be around $300 or so if possible.(cheaper is good too)
My last enclosure was a 4th order bandpass with 2 Orion XTR subs firing directly into the cabin of a 4 door civic. that was 1993. Sounded unbelievable.
This install has to be completely stealth so no bandpass boxes this time.

Any and All comments and suggestions are appreciated.

I am trying to nail this down soon and get the enclosure started.

Thanks in advance

Chris

Dual 4 ohm TypeR. Work well in small sealed enclosures, good output, power handling and SQ. Their shallow sub works well in REALLY small boxes but if u got the room, why spend the extra cash.

I have approached this from a new angle.
After tweaking the available space, I have recalculated and I have exactly
.68 cu ft to work with. I selected some popular 10" subs that others have recommended and done some calculations. It looks like the following 10" subs model very good;

1. Arc Audio 10D4
2. Boston Acoustics G310-44
3. Image Dynamics ID104V.3

They are all in the same price range, the Arc performs the best on paper. Unfortunately, I have no way of hearing any of them in person so I am looking for some opinions.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

Chris

Anyone??....

The Arc and the ID are likely the same woofer. Both would be a good choice.

I have yet to hear a BA woofer setup that I liked. Not saying they're not out there, but I haven't seen one.
