old skool sub question

So i've recently picked up an old CV stroker 12 and I need to know a little about it before tossing it in a box. Anyone know if these old ones like a big box or small? I was thinkin along the lines of slot port only because it'll be a daily, not for comp use. That's what the DD's for.
Any help would be great.

Wow... either I'm having da ja vu or I've read this exact thread posted by you before .... oh, I did. Was there really a need for two posts with the exact same copy paste question? Could have just bumped it up...

I'd help, but have to admit, I know nothing about what the CV stroker likes as far as box requirements...

I think he's looking for box specs... Does your manual list any recommendations for boxes?

ya it has recomended enclosures, they are different for the 12D and the 12D2 though... thats why I asked....

Here are both recomended enclosures.....

12D
2.70 ft^3 (plus port , driver, and brace displacement.... sub is 0.15ft^3)

Port - 4" x 12" x 17.75" long

12D2
2.10 ft^3 (plus port , driver, and brace displacement.... sub is 0.15ft^3)

Port - 4" x 12" x 24 long
