Oversized Enclosure performance?

So i started out building a very odd shaped enclosure to fit behind the factory panel in my 2001 Yukon XL. Original plan was to use a subwoofer that called for roughly .7 ft^3. After realizing that sub wouldnt fit due to mounting depth i have now decided to go with the JL 8w3v3-4 and will be powered by a JL JX500/1D. The 8w3 calls for only 0.35 ft^3. My box is currently 0.7 ft^3 and i only have the ability to reduce its internal volume to about 0.6 ft^3 if i put in a divider panel to left of the sub closing off the entire left side of the enclosure. Port will be at the top right and will be tuned to 35 hz. Being that this enclosure will be anywhere from about 70-100% larger than recommended, how is that going to affect the quality of the sub?

(The outer smaller ring you see is just a placement guide for when my baffle is cut and slides on. Sub will be recessed approximately 1.25" keeping it from ever touching my factory panel once it is put back on.) The 0.778 ft^3 you see written was before taking into account the mounting ring that will be inside the enclosure and the displacement of the driver so pay it no mind lol
