Ported box for 2x SWR-1022D help

So, this will be my first attempt at building a box, as I bought my sound system as a whole from a dealer, and had it installed. However, I've become a hardcore DIYer, and thought this would be fun to build new boxes, as I'm needing to do something with my car. Anyway, I want to build ported boxes, probably separate, but perhaps attached for my subs. I mainly listen to Dubstep, but I've got some Alt rock and a bit of Hip Hop I enjoy from time to time. I'm not sure where to start...Ive got a MRP-M1000 that I'd like to mount to the back of one of the boxes, unless that's a bad idea. It's all going in my 2003 Mits. Eclipse.

I checked out this post: https://www.caraudioforumz.com/enclo...x-help-159974/
It looked similar to what I want to do, but it lacked numbers for the inside port length, and I want to have 2 of those subs, so I'm not sure what to do from there. Thanks in advance for your help!

So I pounded out the box last night using WinISD and Google Sketch, with help from this youtube vid:

I designed it with 3 total cubic feet of space inside, not including the ports. The ports are each 12.5"x1.92" (24 in^2), and WinISD said I needed 43.67" total length for my port, so I divided that amongst the 2 ports to give about 22" per port. The box dimensions will be 36"x16"x14". Anyway, just wanna run that through you guys and see what you guys think, and what could be changed. I dont wanna cut up the wood before I get some input on it all. Oh, and I tuned it to 30 Hz, but it may end up at more like 31 after I put it all together. Thanks!

If you are going to use 2 22" long ports instead of one 44" port, its nots that simple....your tuning will go wayyy up as you have doubled the port area and divided the length

Can you help me figure out how long it should be then? When I put in WinISD my specs, I specified 2 ports with the dimensions I needed, and it spit out 44" for port length. Perhaps it meant 44" per port, but I'm not really sure, as that seems very long, and I dont think it would fit in my box, so that's why I figured it meant 44" total.
