Project 8" flares

Since there are none commercially available, and I could order some custom ones, there's not guarantee they would fit the sonotubes I have available, I've decided to make my own. It's my first time with fiberglass, but so far I'm happy with them. Very light and strong.

Once the mold is made, it shouldn't be to hard to make a bunch more. Just have to find a good supplier for fiberglass and resin. This bondo stuff is expensive and word is it's not very good either.

Are they the metal ones and how much are they?

If I forget the mold and the time, these are going to cost me about 20 for a pair, which is not to bad.

They make 6" and smaller, so there's no point. Not looking to sell except to friends, and local competitors.

Should have some more pics tonight. Hopefully get them done so I can finish my box and start testing.

Done the first one. I'm in no way a perfectionist, so it's not mirror smooth, but it will get the job done.

Would you have any thoughts on my car Yuli? I seem to be struggling around the 150 with it. So close, but so much more work to put in.
