Recommended ported box specs: Eclipse SW9102

Alright, I've decided instead of buying a new box and subs I'm going to get one built for my 09 Sierra crew cab. It will go in the centre on the floor between the front and back seats.

I had a similar setup in my last truck with this sub. I was running a sealed, downfiring box about 1.2-3 cub ft with about 800rms. It sounded great and pounded but I'm really looking to go ported this time to get nice and loud and will be putting about 1000 rms to it.

Can anyone recommend a volume and port size and tuning for this sub in a ported box? Max volume I'm guessing will be about 2 cub ft. I would like to stay downfiring if possible. If not, no big deal. It is super hard to find similar applications with this sub. I will be listening to mostly hard rock, Hip Hop, and watching a lot of movies. (DVD)

These are the only specs that can be found on this sub:
FS: 26 hz
QTS: 0.47
VAS 2.1 CuFt
Xmax 1 way: 1.5”

Thanks guys.

what kind of dimensions do you have to work with?

Very rough estimate without actually measuring right now: Box dim - 2ft(width) x 1.5ft(length) x 2ft(height). It is going behind the centre console and in front of the rear seats on the floor. I can get exact measurements tomorrow. I'm kind of wondering now what I'll need for a minimum volume for ported on this thing? May not have the room.
