Sealed Enclosure Or Free Air ??

Newbie looking for insight :)
I'm replacing my front stage to Focal K2 165KP's and I'm considering building a sealed enclosre. Would the Focals be happier in an open air setup or a sealed enclosure.
These will be going into the doors of my 86 Corvette coupe
The rears are 8'' JL 8W04 subs. JL Slash 300/4. Kenwood KVT715.

Thanks, when looking at the info on them, I saw 30l for volume and wondered if that was a misprint. :lol_hitti

deadin the doors and seal them and you have 30L

Doors are deadened and sealed to about 99 %. I was thinking a sealed enclosure to try and help with a few plastic parts that buzz around. The stupid little push on/off light by the door pull, is one of them. I could always glue everything that moves. :ohwell:

^ Trim like that would still buzz whether the speaker was enclosed or not. Either work on getting all that speaker to output outside of the door panel, deaden the hell out of the door panel itself, or attack the part itself (in this case the light) to stop the rattle.

Putting a 1.1cuft box into the door would be a challenging project.
