Smallest possible ported box for two AQ HD315s aluminum coils

Hi guys
just wondering what would be a close estimate of the smallest possible ported box that I could get away with? I know I should use just one but I picked up a second for cheap so Id like to use both. More of a wow factor and hopefully bit more low end

Thanks!!

AQ lists enclosures as small as 3 ft^3 for a 15", so together would be 6 ft^3, NET (you need to add box wood, driver basket & port volume to that).
Sonic may be able to help you out if you can provide some max dimensions and preferred port positioning. I always start with manufacturer reccomendations and go from there, but would not go any smaller.
Make sure your front baffle is adequately thick/braced!

I also have two 6" aeroports in order to save some vital space

My outer dimensions are 34x32x15 and Ill use 3/4 mdf

Also pls give your max dimension as:

Height =
width =
Depth =

If 15 is your maximum height then the sub cannont be mounted infront because the cut out diameter is 14.0625", you would have to increase that to the outside diameter of the sub approx 16 or 16 +

What type of vehicle would this be going into sedan, hatch, coupe, truck?

ok from rough calculations you should be able to do the minimum 3 cuft per sub @ approx 33 Hz or higher tuning with those 6'' aero ports.

Hi again, sorry, shouldve mentioned the subs will be top mounted with the ports facing the rear. Aeroports will be mounted internally. I have two 6" aeroports but I dont know what lenth to make them flr tuning
Also, Its going in a hatchback

Im not sure what to tune at. I want deep hard hitting bass. Im not entering SPL or anything but Im not looking for just SQ either. I want it to het hard. Thats my first goal.
So would tuning at 35Hz be a safe number?? I havent a clue

Thanks
