I thought we should have a thread to help figure rides etc..

Please note, This is WESTERN travelers only.

1st list is guys that are going and are taking there car, and how many passangers they can take:
Westec---1 passanger Calgary, AB
Bryce (BootLeg??)---2 passangers Camrose, AB
Blue Benz----1 passanger Alberta
Kicker colt---unknown # passangers Calgary, AB
Mini-Steve---Unknown # passangers Edmonton, AB

2nd list is passangers who needs rides, and where they are being picked up from:
Icon--Winnipeg MB
Derek--Med Hat, AB
Wade--Regina, Sask
chev2--Winnipeg, MB
Orion95--Smithers BC
Fat Wacker--Kamloops BC

I added everyones location for easy reference.

If i missed anyone that is CONFIRMED going, let me know. Also how many passangers can kicker colt and mini-steve take? Anyone that is just spectating and taking there car let me know to.

Obviously someone from BC will have to drive to at least Calgary, Sense most of the competitors are from calgary, or the Alberta region.

I will update the list as people post, etc.

so far, as far as i know, im picking up wade, peter, icon, and derek.

Right now i think im more concerned with there being enough seats then with who goes with who..

If there is enough seats in the competition cars, then we wont need to take another car.

My understanding of this trip is you BC guys will first go to calgary and meet up with the AB guys there, then regina to get wade, then winnipeg for icon and me.. then to memphis.. Or does this not make sense? Or you BC guys would go to regina and meet with the calgary guys there along with wade.

Also so everyone is clear.. The plan is to drive straight through.. Co-pilots sleep in the car and trade off driving when the driver is tired of driving.. In the past wade and i switched at every (or every 2nd) gas stop.

Everyone who is taking a vehicle - are you confident that it can stand up to 20-40 hours of straight thru driving? I'm sure we'll have more than enough drivers to do it, but I don't wanna be stuck on the side of the road with the hood up.

Unless someone here is a mechanic? Or is everyone's vehicle ultra reliable?

As it stands right now im from Calgary, Alberta can take one passenger/driver...

Team Shadow is looking into going, from Vancouver. unfortunately it's a two seater and were two. but i just thought that we make it known that we want to go. just in case there are others heading out from vanvouver, we are heading south from here and go across. most likely meet up with you way down south somewheres.
Any BC people heading there in their own cars?

I will be able to to supply 2 way radios for the whole convoy
