Anyone interested in doing that whole TEAM CANADA thing again this year for the IASCA Finals in October??????

Last year it was awesome.............. you saw TEAM CANADA people all over the place with the TEAM CANADA shirts. And there was a nice picture with everyone in it at the end of the show........... with all the trophies, etc.

If this would interest anyone, drop a post here. It will take some organization, so best we get started now.

Team Canada for 2003 is still on, everyone who has their shirts will be wearing them proudly in Memphis...

If anyone else wants shirts let me know. The supplier I have has the templates ready to go. The price this year has gone up (unfortunately [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] ) to $30.00 plus tax but are available.

It would be great to coordinate a caravan to Memphis like we did for Charlotte last year. All those going to the Finals can email me at progressivecar@hotmail.com if they'd like to join the group.

According to mapquest, the routes of those from the West and from TO will meet at I-57 where I-74 intersects it - south of Chicago around Urbana, IL.

If schedules permit, it would be nice to have one huge Canadian convoy.

Hey Moe.......... yeah, things have been really busy for KANKAR. Mark and I have been going nutz. And in whatever spare time I have left, it's been either spent with the family or trying to finish the sound system in the truck. Then throw in that we were away for almost a month in Italy.............. and say good-bye to the summer :(

Oooooooh.......... Wade, now that's a *sic* idea. I like it. Only issue I see with that would be timing. But maybe that could all be worked out.

But one thing is for sure, one nite we need to have a BIG Cannuck gathering somewhere. It would be sweet to have everyone in one place.

The shirts Moe put together are nice. If anyone wants, I can take a picture of mine and post it.

The shirts are a "henley" shirt, which is basically the same as a T-shirt with 3 buttons (v neck style) on the front. The biggest factor in the cost is the silkscreening on the front and the back and the embroidery on each sleeve. It has the maple leaf on the back with Team Canada above it and a smaller version of the same on the front left chest. The embroidery is your name on one sleeve and the product,team or shop you want to represent on the other.

I'm guessing that the price went up because maybe his cost on the shirts increased.

They do wear well though, and everyone that owns one now says they're in as good shape now as when they were new.

Icon, I need a money order (or cash) in advance. Last year I ended up with about 10 shirts unpaid for and not picked up that I paid for out of pocket. It wouldn't be so bad if the shirts weren't personalized, if they weren't I could resell them. That's the reason I'm asking for the money up front.
