actually wallers right .when I had my inhuman in my truck I could burp 148db with a1 tone, but when I played music the meter hovered around 130-132 ish

What's with all the hatin', it looked pretty good if you're into that sort of thing. I'm also sure it can hit a lot louder than 130db...their install did not look bad as they made a proper baffle and reinforced it and even supported the magnet. As bad as some of their work has been( more cheesy than poor workmanship), I'm sure these guys know enough to make a 22" sub and 8500 watts do more than 130db.
Yoy guys should try and remember that it's a tv show geared towards mass audiences and not specialty groups of car audio fanatics. |

They should have gotten some test tones in there and showed what the sub could hit! Quite the install though. Waaay too much for a daily driver. lol! You could tell it was freakin' loud though when X was trying to talk and his voice was vibrating as much as it was.

'Bout time they put that sucker into a car. You can tell by their voices that they're gettin a lot more than 130dB.....maybe 130 is an averaged rating with the music they're playing....my voice just starts getting garbled like that at around 145. The only thing I wonder about is those poor 6 1/2s mounted on the same baffle as that monster....they're not gonna last!....I hope they at least gave 'em their own enclosure behind. |
