07 Mazda 3 oem radio + amp/sub help

just curious to see who's kept their oem radio (i like the look of it and don't want to switch it up with the KDC X591 Excelon i have from my last car)

so what i would like to know is it possible to connect off the oem unit to my amp KACX4R Excelon with a device (LOC - Line-Output-Converter i believe) then add the sub in there (hopefuly finding a jackstand enclosure)

If it's the base stereo then yes you should be able to use a LOC (although do some research as some of the signal to seperate speakers may have a filter at the HU to protect the driver). If it's the upgraded Bose stereo then you have to make your LOC connection after the amp as the HU is basically just a volume **** and all the processing is done in the amp (and the amp will have made adjustments to the signal to protect the speakers).
