2008 dB Drag Racing Rules Matrix

lol noob they are not finalized yet.

JordyO 01-23-2008 01:23 PM

Not the completed rules... but a hint for sure.

I like the "amplifier limit cut in 1/2 for street classes" rule!

Prolifik 01-23-2008 01:30 PM

i dont. now everyone will have a maxximus or an even bigger amplifier in St. A, this rule change didnt solve anything in my opinion. do you remember why the rules were changed back in 2004? now we are back to the same rules as we had in 2004, and back to dealing with the same problems which were the reasons for the rule change back in 2004 to begin with.

they are just going in circles with these changes.

im just wondering and wanted someone else's input. i really dont see the point to the current changes. this is in no way an advancement for street class.

Mat-Romain 01-23-2008 03:06 PM

people with deep pockets are going to get monster amps to stay at the top of the class, like the kicker warhorse, isnt it built for 10Kw on 12v's?

but still, there other amps out there that are gonna be pushing insane power, and companies are just gonna start placeing multiple boards into there amps.

but w/e...i dont see the top scores changing to drastically, and would not be suprised still to see someone break a 60 in street a.

boombox 01-23-2008 03:57 PM

the rules wont make that much of a difference in score because of the amp rule as there will be new amps comming out that is more efficient for the battery to produce the best score.
