I cant help you with finding dedicated stereo wire at an audio shop, but princess auto carries welding cable, should be around $3/foot.

Just the wire and some fuse blocks and fuses (150amp)
I guess I should of mrntioned that LOL.
I found some for $5 a foot I think thats pretty good but cheaper is better, right now.

Check with smarass he had 1/0 kits with everything you need for around $100 and thats a pretty sweet deal imo
