so I picked up the subs..i would much rather have sound sound quality over blaring bass. What amp should I use to power these things? I dont want to rattle my car apart..I just want some good quality base.

thanks

get an amp that is made to overpower the subs but just do not turn the gain way up on it. only over the subs by about 200rms at most.
think of it as a small amp will distort if you wanna turn it up
where as a large amp will be a clean sound still and have the ability to go louder.

set the gain properly and there will be no distortion, the gains not a volume ****.
If you set it correctly you will have no problems underpowering or overpowering 1-200 watts.
I would just match the power rating, thats what there there for.....
