10" or 12"

[Making subwoofer purchase now.
I have a 2001 F150 ext.cab and there is only a $5 diff. between 10 and 12" Infinity perfect subs.
Plan on custom making ported box for either so is there a big diff. in sound repro. and quality from the 10 to the 12 or should i just save the space and go with the 10?

Quick responses hugely appreciated.

thanks

if you have enough room go with the 12.

12's if you have the space, Sq is the same, but you do get a little more output all other things being equal.

12 will probably have a lower frequency range.

If you are doing a box under the seat it depends on the room you have to give the woofer. I prefer a 12 but you likely will only have the room for a 10.

In my truck, without some major modifications, I had room for 1 12" or 2 10". I opted for the 2 10" and am very happy with it.
