a jl 10w3v3 would be nice for your application, so would an image dynamics idq, also check Fi car audio, amazingly good subs and really good prices!

There is some clearance of some nice SQ gear Nakamichi SP-W1000D and the Nakamichi PA-4001 give you about 350wrms. Check them out on the bottom of my signature. Sorry just mentioned those because of the pricing right now. Other then that out of the other two you mentioned I would go Boston.

If you do not have the box already, look to MTX for a Thunderform. It comes inc. the sub and is available in a amplified or non amplified version.

In any case, you have a small sealed box to contend with. You are going to play the hit or miss game if you just choose a sub based on a recommendation with no basis for support. Find a 10" sub that works ideally in a small sealed application. What amp is going to be used on the sub? I just don't understand how people can recommend subs without knowing the rest of the equipment.

first of mtx blows and will not deliver the sound i am looking for i know that for a fact, thats all i heard is mtx and for reason i don't like , dont have any amp i'm buying an amp after i buy the subs, makes more sense that way . box is small but big enough to make some good bass. just dont know what kind of sub to get

does anybody know if the
powerbass 3XL10D 10” $184 MSRP$367 would be alright for that box

It will work, but it is more optimized for a Ported Enclosure.

If you are looking for good sound sealed, the 2XL is more your cup of tea. It is designed for tight bass in a sealed enclosure.

Eclipse makes a great sub in a small sealed box application. www.eclipse-web.com for more info.
