12" Kicker Comp or CompVR VS. any 2 10" subs
#1
I heard this new 12" kicker CompVR, or Comp can almost out power any two 10" subs...is this possible? I heard the sub and honestly it sounded much louder and better than any two 10" subs that i have heard around here. The one i am looking at will cost my about 360$ wit the loaded box
Kicker Site
Will one of these subs really please me or should i go with two and spend more money? Im on a tight budget and by the time I buy the Concept amp i am looking at, im probably gettin into spending about 800$ and i dont have that right now lol.

I don't did they sound good enough to you to please you ............only you know the answer
as for a single compvr 12 out doing any pair of 10" subs out there .........I know a a few that I think would out do it, but they are WAY more money

This is gonna be my first experience with a subwoofer(s)...im looking for something that will pound so that people will hear me coming. Im not into the comptitions or anything like that. Just something that people will be like "U must have two 12"s or 12"s under there." Then when i show them that there is only one 12" in there the'll be like "oh my god!"...Will this sub do that?

No offense, but most people are morons, so impressing them with a single 12" isn't really an accomplishment
Anyways, install is everything ... Proper box, proper positioning, proper settings, etc. = loud set-up ...
And a pair of 10s could theoretically beat a CVR12 as a pair of 10s would have an edge in cone area and could have similar excursion capabilities ...

My question would be: does the 12"Comp VR destroy two 10" Comp VRs? Would that be smart of Kicker?
The 12" Comp VR is a capable woofer - stick it in a good vented box and you'll be able to **** most of your neighbors off. Usually buying a single larger woofer is cheaper than two small ones anyway.
