15" SQL subwoofers

so far im looking at the treo ssx (cant find a dealer in Canada), Sundown nightshade, or DC Level 4. So pretty much I only know of the "underground mainstream" brands, what else should I check out?

I am looking for one that can take 1000+ RMS. Box size im looking to keep it around, or under 3.5 cu ft.

Level 4 and nightshade are meant to just get bloody loud.

i'd look into the SSA xcon and Fi Q

Fi Q would have been my suggestion too. great sub and gets pretty damn loud, even in crappy boxes with crappy amps with crappy power in trunks, all while sounding pretty damn good.

x3 on the Fi Q... i have my 12 in a 2.5 box tuned to 33hz with i think 31 sq in of port and it gets bloody loud. Not near as loud as my 05 Re XXX in the same box but its an original no options 12 so its power handling is 1/3rd the XXX. Oh and not only is it loud but its clear to, FAR from a fart box. Speaking of fart box throw in some lil joh or jeezy and you can feel that in your chest... in a trunk car to boot. Oh and if your smart and built a proper box you can feed 1500 watts to a loaded newer style Q with no problems if its unclipped signal.

i would choose either the xcon, the icon or the Q. Maybe see if you can find a used Si Mag 15, sounds incredible in sealed and incredible in a ported inclosure. I have mine in a ported box around 3.5cf tuned to 30hz per driver sharing 1500 watts and all i can say is wow. Clean loud bass

T3 audio recommends 3 cubes vented for their T2000 15" 2000W RMS. Ascendant audio recommends 2-4 cubes for their SMD 15" 3500W RMS.

Dont Si mags do well in small vented boxes?

The new Si Mag V4's are made for small sealed boxes and not for vented at all. The older Si Mag V3 15 does well in a vented enclosure, you want 3.5cf tuned to 30hz, you could probably go a little smaller but SI recommends 3.5cf
