1996 Ford F-350 Crew Cab 2wd Install Question - Where do you put subs?

Hi Guys,

I decided to finally put a stereo in my truck but I am trying to figure out where the heck to put some subs. I have searched through the forums but couldn't find anything. I have also tried for looking for various stealth box type options but nothing seems to be made for this year. Any thoughts?

This is what I have to put in so far...

Alpine IDA X-001 (no cd unit)
Infinity 7541 - 4 Channel
JLAudioA1800 D Class Amp
Infinity Kappa 6*8 Component
Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5" Component
9" TFT Flip Down Monitor (with DVD Player) FM modulator built in

My other question is what gauge of wire (as in wiring kit) would you run for this system?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Matt

I would run a 4 gauge wire from the battery to a distribution block and the if the amps are close (about 12") from the block use 6 gauge to the amps. Can you fit a custom box under the back seat? I was able to fit 1 shallow mount 12" in the back of a Chevy Canyon. I can send you a diagram of the box if that helps.

You need to clear some space in you PM folder so I can reply to your PM.
