2 12s or 2 15s in the trunk?

Currently, I drive a 2010 Charger with 2 power acoustic mofos in the trunk (go ahead and make fun of the brand). They are running on a 2.4k Brutus wired to 1 ohm. But with these subs and the box they are in so I wanted to switch to two 12s in a ported box. Sundown X-12s have my eye and my ear. But would it be better to have 2 12s in a ported box or dedicate my trunk to subwoofers and have 2 15s in a sealed box?

I would rather have 15's sealed, but it also depends on speakers. In your case i would do the x-12's. You'll have trunk space and it will still be loud. You may lose a little bottom end though. I say get the x-12's

Do you want low bass or high frequency? if you want huge low bass you should use to big and low tuned box without mofo. mofo is very lazy subwoofer and I think x12 is lazy too because mms is 390gr like 15 inch subwoofer and sd less than other 12 inch subwoofer.
if you want low bass you can use kicker l7 12 , jbl gti ,mtx 9500 and w6 or w7 re audio mx , t3 t1000, tc sound lms r ,earthquake subzero.

Low End And Space

I've heard reviews of the X-12 and some say they slam it with 2.5k watts and throw them into a ported box tuned to around 30ish hz and they get low. And the also the X-12 has about 30 to 40 mm of travel (much more than my mofos). But the reason I have subwoofers is for the low bass and for the mid range bass. I'm not all that into the high pitch buzz you get from 10s or some 12s (reason why I went with 15s). Before I drove a Tahoe which had plenty of room and air for the system but now the 15s are crammed into a trunk and they are being choked. Help?
