i dono what to pick...im planning on doin a blowthru and there goin be running off a single zx. 2500.1. one more question- will any kind of box cover work or does it have to be fiberglass?

I think they're the same in terms of power, but theoretically squares have more surface area which means more bass, which I think is a major selling point behind their square subs. I however find the square subs don't sound to musical, if that makes sense. A friend of mine had a L5 and I found his Pioneer sounded better. But thats just me.
