Hey guys, just wondering if its possible to wire 2 DVC subs that need to run at 2ohms or 8ohms up to a single chanel D class mono AMP??? Thanks guys, I am going to be buying a amp and need to know before I buy it! [img]smile.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img]

if the subs are dual 2 ohms you can do it if not it will be 4 ohms

thanks guys, so the sub wiring on that JL link is coming out of 1 channel on the amp?

do you already have the subs? if so what kind and are they 2 or 4 ohm voice coils?

Yeah. To the lay person it seems strange to have two subs only being powered by one (mono) channel. When the subs are wired, only a single positive and a single negative wire come out of the configuration. The positive and negative wires are then connected to the mono amp's negative and positive terminals.

I know it's kinda confusing. The JL Audio page helps.
