2 Ohm Speakers

Hi,
I have a Kicker ZX350.2 amp and just bot Infinity Kappa 60.7 6.5" mids. These are 2 ohm mids. Can I run 4 mids and 4 tweeters off this amp still ?.
I was going to run the mids parellel, but that is when I thought they were 4 Ohm.
Kinda new at this stuff. Any help would be awesome !!.
Thanks,
FG

It doesn't look to be one ohm stereo stable....according to specs anyway.

I'm sure just a pair will deliver just fine, but you COULD series them to get 4 ohm across both, which would suck in terms of power output to each piece.

You'll either have to change amp to one that's known to run good at 1 ohm stereo, or change your component sets altogether.

you can run them in series and create a 4ohm load. The kicker amp is rated at 110x2 @4ohms, so you will get at least 55watts per component set. Usually kicker amps are underated at the factory, so you'll probably get more like 125-130x2...more than enough power for those components to sound great. I have the same speakers running at 2ohms by the way with 110 watts to each mid, and 25 watts to each tweeter actively set up using my Alpine pxa-h701 and I love them.

Thanks for your help !.
Since this is my first system I think that I'll try and keep it as simple as I can right now. I'm running a 400.1 Kicker amp for the subs and would like to keep the amps the same (looks better).
So I think that I'll start looking for 4 ohm mids.

Thanks agian !.
