I have a 02' monsoon grand am. I have replaced the factory HU with an aftermarket one, using the harness that provides me with chimes and my switched power for new HU it alI works happily together with stock amp and crossovers

Now that everyone here knows what I'm starting with here's what I'm planning.

I just bought a woofer box with 2 12' dvc subs rated at 800 watts rms (together) 1600 max wired for 4 olms dependence , amp provides 400 rms 800 max while bridged at 4 olms (amp upgrade planned in future to match powering both those subs properly)

Will it be ok for a brief period to run these subs with this amp? In this setup? Amp supports 2 olms on dual channel mode but would require rewiring of subs for 2 olms aswell

I'm planning on having a switch for sub amp as well, adding a switch to remote turn on wire so the subs aren't always blaring while kids in the car lol. So the amp will only turn on when the HU is on and switch is engaged, as to not forget to turn amp off and drain battery power.

Is it ok to run 2 amps off the same remote turn from HU (one being switched as well)

Also want to run 6x9's in front doors wired to monsoon amp (any help on that would be great!)
